CJP Architects was engaged by the Illinois Police Officers Memorial Committee to enhance their existing memorial on the grounds of the Illinois Capitol. The new portions of the memorial feature granite configured in shapes relying on geometry of the Capitol including walls that form the perimeter of the existing bronze statue on its granite base.

The project remains on hold as a master plan is being delineated for the entire Capitol grounds that may move all monuments and memorials to a new location.
