Where modern meets tradition. Flashback Houses are designed for existing urban neighborhoods such as the Enos Park Neighborhood in Springfield, Illinois. They are designed to have street facing facades that play on the historical context and will otherwise be modern interpretations of the context in which they are surrounded.
In addition, the designs conceive of historic photographs either of actual context or related drawings from plan book houses from the early twentieth century superimposed on the street facing facades. This unique artwork provides another way for these houses to have their own special identity.
